A Crispy Pocket – Gardein

This pocket is one of the best things I eat. It smells so good that my meat-eating coworkers are constantly asking “what is that delicious smell?” Some even say “that looks good” when they see it. And I always answer “it is!”

The pocket is filled with kale, barley, and sundried tomatoes, is made of Gardein’s delicious soy-based “chicken,” and breaded is on the outside. Yum!

To prepare, I microwave the pocket for 45 seconds on each side. Then I put it in the toaster oven at 400 degrees long enough to hear a sizzle (a minute or two) flip and repeat.

And that’s it!! All in all a simple vegetarian meal, high in protein (20g!!!) and oh so good!!
