This is another favorite of mine but it is slightly higher in points so it’s usually a weekend meal. Gardein’s Mandarin Orange Chick’n is amazing all by itself, but I used to find myself eating three servings! I also found that there is more sauce than you need with the chick’n, so, I added some things.
I start by browning the chick’n nuggets, the crispier the better here!!
Then I add cooked broccoli to the frying pan. How did I cook it? Microwave!
Finally, I turn off the heat and add the sauce (the dangerously delicious part). If I’ve got the points for it, I’ll serve the chick’n and broccoli mix over (minute) brown rice, and if I’m short on points, I skip the rice. I generally eat half the package which is the equivalent of 1 1/2 servings of delicousness. This is one that will win over omnivores!!
